ANTARCTICA
For over 10 years, Team Mowbray sailed the rugged waters of Antarctica, where mountains met the sea along the Antarctic Peninsula, and towering glaciers cascaded into narrow fjords and sheltered bays. Team Mowbray, a combination of father Tony and son Jordan often focused on exploring regions like the Gerlache Strait, Paradise Harbour, the world-renowned Lemaire Channel (“Kodak Gap”), Port Lockroy, and the Argentine Islands. They brought their guests ashore as often as possible to experience the breathtaking landscape up close.
They encountered an abundance of wildlife—Humpback, Minke, and Killer Whales surfaced near their boat, while Leopard and Fur Seals rested on ice floes, and thousands of penguins gathered along the shore. Their journeys took them to scientific stations and historical sites, all while surrounded by beautiful icebergs of every imaginable shape and size, their vibrant colors a constant reminder of nature's artistry.
Sailing through those waters felt like stepping straight into a wildlife documentary, where the pure beauty, energy, and extraordinary wildlife of Antarctica came to life in a way no photo or film could ever capture.
